About CompanyDesk
CompanyDesk.eu is a research portal for selected company data from the official and open company registers of 22 European countries. It is intended for lawyers, tax advisers, auditors, businesses and anyone who wants to find out about business partners.
Who is behind it
The operator is AIXI Digital GmbH, based in Vienna. It develops and operates CompanyDesk and is responsible for its content.
Our principles
- Official and open sources only. CompanyDesk uses only registers and datasets that permit reuse. Register data are neither purchased nor scraped from web interfaces.
- Source and date for every item. Every profile states where the information comes from and when it was retrieved, and links to the official register.
- No assessment. Figures are presented soberly and arithmetically. CompanyDesk produces no credit reports and no assessments of companies.
- Data protection. To protect individuals, there is no search for persons, and information about persons is not linked. Records of sole traders and comparable entities are not indexed by search engines. Residential addresses are deliberately not included; dates of birth of officers only where the register publishes them, and for visitors who are not signed in only the year of birth.
- Free register data. Master data, status, officers and source remain free for everyone. CompanyDesk Pro adds value for professional research without putting the register data themselves behind a paywall.
- Not an official register. CompanyDesk does not issue official register extracts. Only the extract of the registering authority is binding.
