Disclaimer and source notices
This page summarises what CompanyDesk stands for and what it does not, and sets out the notices owed to the registering authorities. It supplements the General Terms and Conditions and the privacy policy.
1. Pure transmission without substantive review
CompanyDesk does not collect, verify or assess any data. The information shown is passed on as transmitted by the registering authorities through their interfaces or as published datasets. Processing is limited to the technical standardisation of terms, spelling and date formats and to merging the information of several registers into one entry. No check of accuracy, completeness or currency takes place at any time, nor is the operator able to carry one out. The operator facilitates access to third-party data and is not its author.
2. No official effect, no protection of reliance
All information reflects the status of the source queried at the time stated. It is not a company register extract within the meaning of the Austrian Company Register Act, not a commercial register extract and not any other official certificate. The protection of reliance under section 15 of the Austrian Commercial Code and comparable provisions of other legal systems attaches exclusively to the official register and does not extend to the reproduction shown here. For purposes requiring proof of powers of representation, disposal or signature, in particular vis-à-vis courts, authorities, notaries and banks, the official extract must be obtained from the registering authority. Outputs in file form are marked as a separate research summary.
3. Accuracy, completeness and currency
The information comes from third parties. No guarantee is given for accuracy, completeness or currency, as there is no influence on the data quality of the registering authorities. Several sources publish their datasets only every two weeks or daily; the information shown from them is therefore expressly not a real-time image. The date of the data is shown with each result.
4. Labelling of the processing
The information is standardised, namely in terminology, spelling and date format, and supplemented with information from other registers. It is therefore not an unchanged reproduction of the register content. If a company is recorded in several registers, the information is merged into one entry and all registers involved are named.
5. No assessment
No credit, risk or reliability ratings are produced and no statements are made about solvency, creditworthiness or business conduct. No such statement can be derived from the existence or absence of an entry, from the status of an entity identifier or from missing information. No automated decision-making takes place.
6. No legal advice
Providing this information is not legal, tax or business advice and does not establish a client relationship. Assessment in the individual case is reserved to persons authorised under professional law.
7. Availability
No particular availability is owed. Maintenance, disruptions of the data connection and outages, limits or changes of the connected registers are outside the operator's control. If a source does not respond, this is shown with the results; an empty result therefore does not mean that no entry exists.
8. Personal data
Where registers publish information about natural persons, for example authorised officers, only the information that the authority itself makes publicly available is shown. Residential addresses are not included. Dates of birth are shown only where the register publishes them, and for visitors who are not signed in only the year of birth. There is no search for persons and no linking of personal information. Data subjects may object to the processing; details are set out in the privacy policy.
9. Notes on the individual registers
Republic of Austria, company register
Data source: Republic of Austria (represented by the Federal Ministry of Justice). The data are obtained on the basis of the terms of use for the reuse of high-value datasets under the Austrian Information Reuse Act. AIXI Digital GmbH processes these data by standardising, summarising and linking them with information from other registers; these processing steps and enrichments are marked as such and do not originate from the Republic of Austria. The Republic of Austria accepts no liability for the accuracy, completeness or currency of the processed data or for damage arising from their use. The information shown is not a company register extract within the meaning of the Company Register Act and not an official document. Passing on the data essentially unchanged to third parties not affiliated with AIXI Digital GmbH is prohibited. The Federal Ministry of Justice is granted free control access on request.
The following notices are owed to the respective authorities and apply to any reuse of the information obtained through this application.
Global Legal Entity Identifier Foundation
Attribution of the source and of the fact that only entities with an assigned identifier are covered.
No conclusion about creditworthiness or reliability may be drawn from the status of the identifier. The source does not replace a national register.
AT, Company register, high-value datasets
Republic of Austria, represented by the Federal Ministry of Justice. Any change or enrichment must be clearly identifiable to the end user. The Republic's liability for processed data is excluded.
Documents from the collection of documents, in particular annual accounts, are not cached but passed on unchanged on request; retrieval is available only to logged-in users. The right of use is not transferable. Passing on the raw data essentially unchanged to unaffiliated companies is not permitted reuse. No impression of an official extract may be created. The place of jurisdiction is Vienna.
AT, Austrian trade information system, stage 1
Attribution of the source and the time of retrieval and of the fact that the information concerns only the trade licence queried.
The query always requires the GISA number and the name of the holder and serves to validate individual businesses. Mass queries and industry, founder and contact lists are prohibited. Commercial use is expressly permitted.
FR, Recherche d’entreprises
Attribution of the source and the time of retrieval and of the fact that units with restricted distribution are not included.
Information on officers who are natural persons and on sole traders is deliberately not included.
CZ, Administrativní registr ekonomických subjektů
Attribution of the source and the time of retrieval. The information there is compiled from the commercial register, the trade register and other registers; trade licences come from the Živnostenský rejstřík of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
Information on officers who are natural persons is not retrieved. Confirmation of the conditions for commercial reuse has been requested.
PL, Krajowy Rejestr Sądowy
Attribution of the source and the time of retrieval. Personal data have already been pseudonymised by the authority.
The open service offers no name search. The trade register of sole traders is not covered.
SK, Register právnických osôb
Attribution of the source and the licence and of the fact that the data are updated nightly and changes from the last twenty-four hours may be missing.
Information on officers and beneficial owners is not included.
DK, Det Centrale Virksomhedsregister
Attribution of the source under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution licence.
The CVRPerson entity (officers) is separately protected and requires the Danish business digital signature; it is not queried. Units with advertising protection must be respected; the data may not be used for direct marketing. Personal identification numbers and protected private addresses are excluded.
GB, Companies House
Attribution of the source including the licence notice for the Open Government Licence.
The key must be stored on the server side and must not be passed on. A restriction to the querying server addresses is provided for.
IE, Companies Registration Office
The notice “Contains Irish Public Sector Data” must be displayed, together with source, licence and the fact that the data are updated daily.
The dataset is a daily snapshot and is not equivalent to a real-time register extract.
GR, Γενικό Εμπορικό Μητρώο
Attribution of the source and the licence.
For officers, name, function, power of representation and period are taken over; the interface does not supply dates of birth or home addresses. Access requires approval by the Central Union of Hellenic Chambers.
HR, Sudski registar
Attribution of the source and the time of retrieval.
For the public branch, a maximum of six queries of the full extract per minute is permitted. The name search therefore first returns a short results list, for which the details are then fetched; it is limited to a few results.
CH, Zefix, central business name index
When reusing, state the origin and mark changes. CompanyDesk adds the time of retrieval.
Source: Zefix – Central Business Name Index, Federal Commercial Registry Office (EHRA), Federal Office of Justice, Switzerland. CompanyDesk selects information and processes it technically; field names and presentation may differ from the source. The data and links are without guarantee and have no legal effect. Only the certified register extract issued by the competent commercial register office and the publication text in the Swiss Official Gazette of Commerce (SOGC) are binding. The EHRA accepts no liability for damage resulting from the unavailability of the interface; to that extent no claim for damages can be made against the EHRA.
SE, Bolagsverket
Statement of the source and the time of retrieval; accurate reproduction of the data.
According to the access email, an account inactive for six months will be closed. If disclosure of the access credentials is suspected, Bolagsverket must be contacted immediately. The access email contains no separate reuse conditions.
NO, Enhetsregisteret
Attribution of the source and the time of retrieval.
No particular restrictions on displaying the basic information.
FI, Kaupparekisteri
Attribution of the source and the licence.
The register's original codes are adopted unchanged and not translated freely.
LT, Juridinių asmenų registras
VĮ Registrų centras, Juridinių asmenų registras, licence Creative Commons Attribution 4.0, stating the time of retrieval and the changes made.
Names of sole proprietorships and partnerships are anonymised by the authority. Information on officers and beneficial owners (JADIS, JANGIS) is not obtained.
LV, Uzņēmumu reģistrs
Attribution of the source and the date of the imported dataset.
The authority offers no interface for individual queries. The dataset is reimported daily, so that changes and deletions are reflected.
SI, Poslovni register Slovenije
Poslovni register Slovenije, Agencija Republike Slovenije za javnopravne evidence in storitve. The date of the imported dataset must also be stated.
The open dataset comprises registration number, full name, business address, legal form and registering body. The agency's live service is subject to charges and quotas and is not used.
CY, Register of registered organisations
Department of Registrar of Companies and Intellectual Property, Cyprus, licence Creative Commons Attribution 4.0, stating the resource, the date of the data and the changes made.
The separately published file of officers is not imported because it contains personal data. The address file is linked in a second pass via the reference number. Official certificates and information on beneficial owners are not released.
BE, Kruispuntbank van Ondernemingen (KBO)
Attribution of the source and the date of the imported file.
The open dataset contains no officers, only company name, legal form, address, activity and status. The paid real-time query (Public Search) is not used.
EE, Äriregister
Attribution of the source, the licence and the date of the imported file.
Only the basic data are imported. Shareholders and beneficial owners are not imported for data protection reasons. The register's interface requires a contract with contractual penalties of up to ten thousand euros per breach and is not used on the instruction of the management.
MT, Malta Business Registry (MBR)
Attribution of the source, the licence and the date of the imported file.
The open dataset contains no officers. The register's subscription interfaces with two-factor login are not used.
RO, Registrul Comerțului

OD_FIRME contains company name, registration number, EUID, legal form and address. Only companies and cooperatives are imported. The CUI is not a confirmed VAT ID. The status is held in a separate file and is shown here as open. The separately published file of legal representatives is not imported. Paid information from the register under Ordin MJ 380/C/2024 is not obtained.
DK, Offentliggjorte regnskaber (published annual reports)
Statement of the source and the reporting period.
Only key figures from the XBRL version are taken over; documents are not passed on. Entities with advertising protection are respected; the data is not used for direct marketing.
RO, Situații financiare (key figures of annual accounts)
Ministerul Finanțelor, Situații financiare, data.gov.ro, licence OGL-ROU-1.0; selection and conversion by CompanyDesk.
Only key figures of the companies are taken over, no personal data. Matching is based on the CUI, which is not displayed as a VAT number.
LT, Finansinės atskaitomybės duomenys (financial statement data of the Register of Legal Entities)

Only the main totals of the balance sheet and income statement are taken over.

Public financial statements only; confidential statements of micro and small companies are excluded. No personal data.
10. Liability of the operator
The operator gives no warranty and accepts no liability for the data shown. In particular, the operator is not liable for the accuracy, completeness, currency or usability of the information passed on, for errors, delays or outages of the interfaces and datasets of the registering authorities, for transmission errors, or for decisions taken on the basis of information from this application without obtaining the official extract. Claims for compensation for financial loss, loss of profit, indirect damage, consequential damage and loss of data are excluded. These exclusions apply to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law; only liability for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence and for personal injury, insofar as it cannot be excluded under mandatory law, and the mandatory rights of consumers remain unaffected.
The query is made automatically from the source stated in each case. Errors in the processing and summarising of the data cannot be ruled out. This summary is not checked and makes no claim to completeness or accuracy. Any warranty and liability for the data shown is excluded. Passing it on is permitted only if the exclusions of warranty and liability are retained.
11. Links to third-party sites
No liability is accepted for the content of third-party websites accessible via links. On becoming aware of an infringement, the link will be removed immediately. Paid placements are marked as advertisements and do not affect the ranking of search results.
