In Belgium, the Crossroads Bank for Enterprises (Kruispuntbank van Ondernemingen, Banque-Carrefour des Entreprises) at the Federal Public Service Economy records all businesses and their establishments. Every business receives a ten-digit enterprise number, which also serves as its VAT number.
