The Finnish trade register (kaupparekisteri)
The trade register is kept by the Finnish Patent and Registration Office (Patentti- ja rekisterihallitus, PRH). Together with the Tax Administration it operates the Business Information System YTJ, in which every business is recorded under its Business ID (Y-tunnus), for example 0112038-9.
Inspection
Basic information on businesses can be viewed free of charge through YTJ; the PRH also provides it as open data. Official trade register extracts are issued by the PRH.
