The Slovak commercial register (Obchodný register) is kept by the registry courts. The Register of Legal Persons (RPO) of the Statistical Office provides the data as open data; annual accounts are published by the Register of Financial Statements (RÚZ).

The Slovak commercial register (obchodný register)

The commercial register is kept by the district courts as registry courts. In addition, the Register of Legal Persons (RPO) of the Statistical Office consolidates the information from the commercial register and other source registers. Every entity receives an eight-digit identification number (IČO).

Inspection

The commercial register can be inspected free of charge on the portal of the Ministry of Justice; the Statistical Office provides the data of the RPO under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 licence.

Why does the Slovak source sometimes respond slowly?

The Statistical Office's interface sometimes takes longer for individual queries. CompanyDesk then shows the most recently available information and indicates this.
